Overthinking means putting too much pressure on your mind, constantly dwelling on things. This deep thinking often takes us away from the present. Typically, we spend 70% of our thoughts on the past and 30% worrying about potential future problems.

It's true that many people face overthinking without realizing it, and its effects can be disruptive. Being aware of the issue is a crucial first step. If you have strategies or behaviors that help you manage overthinking, that's valuable. It's essential to find what works for you, whether it's mindfulness techniques, setting boundaries, or seeking support from others.
